DAY 1 : Pick Up CAN THO (L-D)
08:55 – Can Tho Eco Tour – After picking you up at Can Tho Airport, we’ll guide you to visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery, one of the biggest Zen monasteries in Southwest Vietnam. With an area of 38,016m2, the monastery concentrates many typical architectural works such as: Drum Tower, Bell Tower and large shrines, including Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva’s temple, One Pillar Pagoda, lecture hall.
After sightseeing at Truc Lam Zen Monastery, you will visit the Binh Thuy Ancient House, which was built in 1870 and combines Chinese and French architectures. The well-known French film “L’amant” was filmed on the site at this local treasure.
After that, you’ll explore Son Isle – a unique type of community tourism, to get away from the urban noises, a pticturesque treasure on water situated next to the city of Can Tho. You will have the opportunity to experience the cozy village relationships among cool breezes, and luxuriant orchards…
You can also visit floating fish-raft villages and learn to make traditional cakes, watching the snakehead fish dance as a recreational pastime,…and then enjoy a cake buffet.
Having lunch in Son Isle with rural dishes prepared by hospitable local people is also a life-long memeory.
15:30 – You are back to Can Tho City and check in AZERAI CAN THO RESORT. Azerai in Can Tho is an ideal base for exploring Vietnam’s fascinating Mekong Delta. DAY 2: CAN THO – THE END (B)
After have breakfast, transport to Cai Rang floating market by boat. The Cai Rang Floating Market – the biggest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta. The Cai Rang Market is well known for its variety of fresh fruits and other local products. You can see over hundred boats gather on river and exchange their fresh products that famers have just picked up from their garden on previous day and transfer here, with various vegetables: sweet potato, carrot, pumpkin, cabbages, onion, garlic, watermelon, pineapple… and you also have chance to taste and buy some of this tropical fruits on this floating market, and enjoy daily activities of local people along river bank.
Come back Ninh Kieu Quay and go to Can Tho Airport. See you again.
