Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Sa Dec – Chau Doc:

After picking you up at the hotel or the airport, we will drive to Chau Doc Eco Tour. On the way we will stop at a flower village in Sa Dec Eco Tour to visit a few gardens with many kinds of beautiful flowers. Then we will visit Phuoc Kien Pagoda where there is a special kind of lotus with leaves big enough for a person to stand on. Afterward, we will have lunch in Long Xuyen City before checking into the hotel in Chau Doc. We will visit “Mieu Ba Chua Xu” where many people come every year to worship “Lady Buddha.” We will also visit the mausoleum of Thoai Ngoc Hau, an important figure who contributed to the construction of the Vinh Te and Thoai Ha Canals. We will have dinner and free time at night.

Day 2: Floating village, Cham village and Tra Su forest.

After check-out, we will take a boat to the floating village to see how they raise a lot of fish in the Mekong region. We will also visit a Cham community and we take the bus to Tra Su forest to observe many kind of birds gathering around trees naturally. We enjoy lunch there. After lunch, we will return to Can Tho City, a three-hour trip. There, we get the chance to see thousands of crocodiles at a local farm. Finally, we will check into the hotel at Can Tho.

Day 3: Floating market, bike tour and Ho Chi Minh city:

We will depart from Ninh Kieu Park at 7:30 am for the Cai Rang Floating Market – the biggest wholesale floating market in the Mekong Delta. The Cai Rang floating market is well known for its variety of fresh fruits and other local products. Hundreds of boats still gather there to buy and sell every morning.

After seeing floating market, we will go to hand-made rice noodle to try how to make rice noodle. After that we go to Ba Lang, a suburb of Can Tho City. From there, we will begin our ride along quiet, beautiful canals to Gian Gua – a revolutionary landmark of local people. Our trip will continue around the village, where you will get a first-hand perspective on local daily life in the rice fields and fruit gardens, where we will take a break to enjoy lunch and local fruit. You can learn to cook Vietnamese dishes. After that, we will return to Ninh Kieu park by boat and take the bus to HCM city, end services. ( This is Mekong Eco Tour we love)
